Our Panel:

Dave the Drummer

Long time London Techno producer and underground techno DJ Dave The Drummer will be hosting the event & showing techniques in Ableton live basic mastering using Isotopes Ozone and some synth tips and tricks.

Mark EG

Mark EG now runs an incredibly successful online DJ academy, where he trains students using live chat in the art of Ableton live and music production. Although he has a huge amount of experience in the world of hard techno and hard trance, Mark has successfully taught many different genres of music to his students.

Diarmaid O Meara

Berlin based Diarmaid is an incredibly talented producer who’s recent LP “In Your Head” and it’s accompanying videos have been turning heads for the last few months. Diarmaid will be lifting the lid on some of his production techniques for us all.

Patrick DSP

Neptune Mastering is the home of another Berlin based Patrick DSP, when he is not out gigging live or rocking it on the decks in a dark club somewhere you can find Patrick working away mastering some of the biggest techno tracks on the scene.

His recent output on Funk n’ Deep and Techburst has seen his many of his tracks sitting at the top of the Beatport charts for many weeks, this is the man to go to if you want to know how to make a techno track sound amazing! Ant also currently works a vinyl cutting engineer for vinyl carvers.

Crystal Distortion

The man, the myth, the legend, that is Simon Crystal distortion. Playing live at just about any tempo you care to imagine while throwing all sorts of randomness into his live set and manipulating it on the fly, it will be incredible to learn some live set tips from this man.

Rachel Rakitt

The wonderful Rachel Rakitt, who has tirelessly worked as a DJ agent for the best part of 15 years. What Rachel doesn’t know about DJ’s, Performers, Promoters, Gigs and getting everyone there and getting everyone paid isn’t worth knowing. Rachel will be telling us about her new agency, why she started it and what she thinks new DJ’s should be doing if they want to get work.

Jon Connor

When he’s not out in the middle of the ocean working on massive wind turbines Jon is in the studio banging out tracks and working on his label Bubblejam. Jon will be shedding light on his creative process within running a record label and how to market a new techno label to and already saturated market.

Modular synths are patching are no object to the guru known as 3Phazegenerator. Once a Buddhist monk, Kev now spends his time in his studio running techno label Recoil and creating techno monsters for the dance floor.

Space Cat Audio Technologies

S-CAT founders Arron Courts and Abegael Saward have been modifying, or circuit bending, vintage instruments in the UK since 2008. To date, over 900 S-CAT machines have sold via eBay or commission. Circuit bent instruments are great for musicians looking for unique sounds. S-CAT machines are in demand by producers, bands, film sound effects creators and more.
